Above-ground storage tanks can be monitored for leaks using the leak detection well or leak detection chamber on top of the tank. This "optical" leak detection method is the most commonly used.
All above-ground double-walled tanks up to 5000 litres are fitted as standard with a (welded-on) leak detection well on which a sight glass is mounted.
The larger tanks are fitted with a Ø 200 mm leak detection chamber, which we supply in a small model (tank capacity up to 20m³) and a large model (tank capacity > 20m³).
